Brooklyn rapper Wais P will release a new album, entitled Pimpin Saved My Life, but before then, he drops a brand new mixtape called PV$$Y RICH.
As the set-up for his album, PV$$Y RICH is not only a display of Wais P's talents, but also a platform for the rapper, who's also an active pimp, to continue to spread his Pimp-Hop movement.
"I'm making music more tailor made to who I am," said the rapper, explaining his direction with the new tape. "This is the set-up, and my album will delve even deeper into this life, and Pimp-Hop."
The mixtape boasts guests such as Action Bronson, Devin The Dude, GLC, Mistah FAB, 8Ball & MJG, and more.
For Wais, it wasn't about chasing names, but rather collaborating with artists that he likes, that he felt would add to the project. "I wanted to work with artists that I thought were interesting," he said. "I wanted to work with charismatic personalities. Mistah FAB -- he has a big personality; everyone knows Action Bronson; GLC is one of the most prolific pimp spitters in the game other than myself."
