International arts & culture magazine, Vice, announced this week its acquisition of British fashion/lifestyle magazine, i-D.
"VICE is so excited to work with the guys at i-D magazine, one of the only fashion publications in the world we actually respect," said VICE president Andrew Creighton.
Founder Terry Jones called the deal "the beginning of an incredibly exciting chapter in i-D's history." He also took to Twitter to express his excitement: "WE JUST GOT MARRIED."
Both Jones and his wife Tricia will still remain shareholders and creative visionaries in the mag, which will remain in a monthly print format. However, with Vice's help, they're expected to boost their online content.
