Tis the season. As Christmas draws closer, Nike Basketball presents three seasonal versions of their Kobe 8 System, LeBron X and KD V sneakers.
Kobe's signature shoe keeps with the snake-inspired design by drawing inspiration from the rhinoceros viper. The holiday colorway comes in bright red and yellow snake skin-like pattern to mimic a Christmas tree garland.
The LeBron X unearths a red diamond colorway accented by a sun-washed green and a metallic-like reflection on the vibrant upper.
And finally, the KD V is inspired by a gift superstar Kevin Durant got as a kid: a video game system. Nike designers created the upper design, sockliner graphic and tongue tab logo for Durant's special Christmas Day shoe with that in mind -- blending these details with a combination of Nike Zoom (forefoot) and Nike Air (heel) cushioning along with a Hyperfuse upper and dynamic heel support.
All three sneakers will hit various Nike accounts on December 26, 2012.
