Nike hooks up with popular Japanese toy brand, Medicom, for a new, limited edition collection, meshing " iconic sport classics together with a legendary toy," the shoe company said in a press release.
In support of the Lunar Force 1 release, the Nike x BE@RBRICK Collection will be comprised of limited versions of the Nike Lunar Force 1, the Nike Destroyer Jacket, and BE@RBRICK figures.
The Lunar Force 1's come in black/white and white/blue-orange colorways, both with BE@RBRICK logos on tongue. A Nike x BE@RBRICK Destroyer Jackets were also producing in colors matching the shoes, and will feature branding from both companies on the sleeves. They will, however, only be released in Japan.
To finish off the collection, a pair of matching special edition BE@RBRICK Lunar Force 1 100% and 400% toys will be simultaneously available in limited numbers worldwide to accompany this release.
Nike x BE@RBRICK Collection Lunar Force 1 Collection drops on Wednesday (December 19) at select global retailers.
