Trey Songz was reportedly arrested recently for allegedly assaulting a woman with money?
According to TMZ.com, the 28-year-old singer (real name: Tremaine Neverson) threw an album release party for his latest album, Chapter V, back in late August ... at a Gentlemen's club (strip club) in Queens. And, sometime that evening and early the next day, an altercation took place.
Police said, via a criminal complaint, Trey threw "a sum of United States currency at the complainant and said sum of United States currency struck the complainant's left eye causing substantial pain to her left eye."
It's unclear, however, if that woman was a stripper, though.
Trey wasn't arrested that evening, but instead, a month later for misdemeanor assault. He had a court date in New York on November 1 where an order of protection was issued, and is now due back in court in February.
He, or his camp, had yet to comment on the incident.
