It's coming next year, but Sony is set to unleash the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta to PS Plus members on January 8, so here's a look at what it's all about.
The multiplayer beta will feature the yet-to-be-seen "Favor of the Gods mode," which a press release says is a "Team Favor of the Gods without the teams," where players earn a variety of points via bonus kills and ultimately skillful executions using the Spear of Olympus.
Gamers will also gets a chance to play through the tutorial level that includes battle allegiances with both Zeus and Ares, as well as experience some player customization options and upgrades in the final game.
