Wiz Khalifa chatted it up with Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 this week in support of the release of his latest album, O.N.I.F.C., during which he discussed everything from fatherhood, plans for more children, and where his rap moniker came from.
With a baby on the way, with fiance Amber Rose, the Pittsburgh rap star shared its gender ... and plans to have a second?
"It's a boy," Wiz shared, before saying another isn't far from his mind. "Yeah, he's gotta have a buddy, right? Can't be trying to take up all my time (laughing)."
As the interview continued, Wiz explained the origin of his rap name, saying he got it from his grandfather.
"My grand dad is Muslim. So the Khalifa means 'successor, leader, shining light.' At a young age, he kinda seen that in me. He gave me that name," he explained. "The Wiz part comes from being wise beyond my years."
