UGK, the southern rap duo comprised of Bun B and the late Pimp C, are widely considered legends and pioneers, but don't always get the recognition that deserve. The duo were regionally recognized on Sunday (December 2) when they were inducted into the Museum of the Gulf Coast Music Hall of Fame.

During a ceremony in UGK's native Port Arthur, Texas, held two days before the fifth anniversary of Pimp C's death, Bun B accepted on their behalf. "Who would've thunk?" he asked, before encouraging those in attendance to visit the museum more often.

"We're one and the same," Bun said of Port Arthur. "It is very hard to separate me from Port Arthur and Port Arthur from me and that’s a good thing.

"Chad loved Port Arthur so much," said Weslyn "Mama Wes" Monroe, Pimp C's mother. "This is a tremendous thing today."
