The NBA announced Thursday (October 5) the release of a new line of NBA Halloween costumes created by Leg Avenue, offering ladies a sexy option for the upcoming holiday.
The collection features dance team costumes for a variety of teams -- including the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The family owned, Los Angeles-based Leg Avenue has more than 450 different costume styles. In addition to NBA costumes, the company also is licensed to by various entertainment companies to create outfits from hit movies such as Top Gun, Flashdance and Grease.
"The NBA has always had a tremendous female fan-base," said Lisa Griffin, Marketing Manager for Leg Avenue. "With Halloween just around the corner, this is a perfect way to engage the female sports fan and give her a unique opportunity to show off her team spirit."
Each NBA costume retails from $50-$60 and are available nationally at Party City retail stores and PartyCity.com.
