Fresh off his signing to Waka Flocka's Brick Squad Monopoly earlier this year, rapper Haitian Fresh has been hard at work on his Face The World EP. But, while fans wait, he unleashes his first mixtape as a member of the squad.
Never heard of Haitian Fresh? He's been grinding for years. He's already worked with some major stars, and garnered over 20 million views on his Youtube channel. But, it's all a culmination of a lifetime of hard work to overcome personal struggles.
Fresh was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, but fled to Miami with his family in 1998 to escape the harsh political climate of the country. Times were tough in his childhood, but his hard work wound up getting him into a notable college where he earned a degree in business and marketing, the first member of his family to do so. Now he works to build awareness of his community through his music and his stage name.
Haitian Fresh dropped Money, Power, Respect over the weekend, hosted by DJ Fletch and DJ Khaled. The new mixtape features 25 new tracks with a star-studded guest list, including Trae Tha Truth, Rick Ross, French Montana, Maino, Busta Rhymes, Wyclef, Lil Kim, Lil Boosie, Sean Garrett, Travis Porter, and of course, Waka Flocka.
At press time, a release date for his Face The World EP was unknown. Until then, download the new Money, Power, Respect mixtape.
