Xzibit unveiled the coverart and tracklisting for his first new album in six years last week, which is entitled Napalm.
Although the west coast rap legend has stayed busy throughout his musical hiatus, working on various film projects, as well as a handful of new songs and countless tour runs, the forthcoming project will be X's seventh studio LP, and first new album since 2006's Full Circle.
Xzibit previously planned his return in 2010 with the announcement of an LP titled MMX, but due to label issues, it was never released. The album's title was later switched to Restless 2, and finally in late 2011, it became Napalm.
As seen in the tracklist, the 17-track effort boasts guest appearances from Game, RBX, Mobb Deep's Prodiguy, Wiz Khalifa, E-40, Travis Barker, King Tee and Tha Alkaholiks, Crooked I, and B-Real to name a few. Producers include Rick Rock, 1500 or Nuthin', David Banner, Akon, and Dr. Dre, among others.
While we're unable to confirm, word is Napalm will drop September 25th via EMI.
