It's been nearly four years since Akon dropped his third album, 2008's Freedom. Thanks to the breakout success of Lady Gaga, the Senegalese singer has been able to sit back and take a break ... but he's finally gearing up for this return.
While his next official LP is due in the fall, 'Kon hooks up with DJ Whoo Kid and Evil Emptire for a free mixtape to feed the streets, called Konkrete Jungle.
The 13 tape boasts remixes of Ca$h Out's hit "Cashin' Out," Future's "Same Damn Time," and Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know." It also features appearances from the likes of Fabolous, E-40, and Busta Rhymes.
Akon's long-delayed Stadium album isn't due until September 11, so until then, download a copy of Konkrete Jungle.
