50 Cent sat down with Oprah Winfrey for the first time on Sunday (June 10) for an episode of her OWN network show, "Oprah's Next Chapter."
In the lengthy interview, Fif speaks with Oprah about his journey to success, from his childhood to his drug dealing days all the way to hip-hop stardom.
Fif visits his grandmother's Jamaica, Queens home to show where he was famously shot years ago; and later Oprah visits his suburban home he shares with his grandmother for a sit-down.
Some of the topics they cover include why he didn't like Oprah before, because he thought she didn't like him based on the lyrical content of his music; the loss of his mother at the age of 8; getting shot 9 times; why he named his dog Oprah; the difference between 50 Cent and Curtis Jackson; and his Street King initiative, among others
OWN aired the first part of their sit-down, and will air the second part of the piece next Sunday (June 17) on OWN.
