 Rapper 2 Chainz was reportedly arrested LaGuardia Airport in New York on Tuesday morning (May 22), after security found a weapon in his carry-on bag.
According to TMZ.com, the rapper (real name: Tauheed Epps) was going through the Delta terminal to catch a flight to North Carolina when the TSA discovered brass knuckles in his bag.
Police were called to the scene, and 2 Chainz was arrested and taken into custody for misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon at around 1:45 local time.
As of press time, the rapper was still in police custody.
Sources tell us 2 Chainz actually had a four-finger ring (see below) he recently purchased from brand Dope Couture, which security and police thought mistook as a pair of brass knuckles.
His camp says they are currently "handling the situation."
