 Now in its 26th year, SXSW has built a reputation for providing a platform for new and relatively unknown acts, an opportunity to break through in front of music fans and industry folks, alike. Every year musical acts from around the world ascend upon Austin to showcase their talents before the fans. The week-long festival boasts music, film, and interactive conferences in Austin, Texas.

March 14th
Suburban Noize Presents: Mickey Avalon - RSVP HERE
8pm - 2am @ Club 606 (aka Bandpage HQ), 604-606 East 7th Street
BandPage HQ will be a destination for all industry professionals during SXSW. It kicked off on March 9th and runs through March 18th. Located right in the heart of Downtown Austin, BandPage HQ features 13,000 square feet including 3 stages, multiple bars, a large outdoor patio and private VIP space for meetings and reception. On March 14th, Mickey Avalon takes the stage, with opening performances by Blaqstarr, Kosha Dillz, Na Palm, and Soul Kahn, among others.

The FADER FORT Sessions - RSVP HERE
All Week @ Nokia Lab
The FADER FORT will host four evenings of teaser performances at the Nokia Lab during SXSW Interactive. The Nokia Lab, a massive dome, will feature DJ sets and performances from a slew of dope artists, and will be open to all Interactive badge holders.

Streetwear vets, Crooks & Castles, invades Austin for their first SXSW event. Taking place on Thursday (March 15), the Crooks showcase will feature "The Super 7 DJs" -- including DJ Jayceeoh, DJ Fashen, Steve1der (LA), DJ Bonics (PA), Eh! Mass Appeal Magazine is back and making noise at the infamous, Austin Texas-based tech/music/culture mega-fest SXSW. Their showcase features Mobb Deep and Raekwon as headliners, while other performers include: Curren$y, Mr. MFN Exquire, Gangrene (Alchemist & Oh Ho), Huson Mohawke, Nneka, Ninjasonik, Bad Rabbits, and DJ Jayceeoh.

We're unsure how you RSVP, but the digital music label is boasting a nice line-up of performers. Hosted by Marcus MD and Tayo of the Marcus and Tayo show on KVRX Austin, the show will boasts performances from Skeme, Jon Connor, the LEP Bogus Boys, PUSH! Montana, and others.

2012 Audible Treats Showcase - RSVP HERE

Lifestyle/entertainment marketing firm Audible Treats is bringing their showcase to SXSW for the third year. The show will feature a mix of hip-hop's most lauded acts, including co-headliners Souls of Mischief and Talib Kweli, along with Georgia Anne Muldrow & Dudley Perkins, Moe Green, A.Dd+, L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Roach Gigz, Andre Nickatina, SL Jones, and THEESatisfaction.
As an official SXSW-sponsored showcase all badge and wristband holders will be admitted for free.
"SX provides a great platform for fans and industry insiders alike to witness live shows of dozens of up-and-coming artists before the rest of the world," said Audible Treats President Michelle McDevitt. "We're looking forward to giving this year's attendees another sneak peak at the new class of emerging talent."
March 16th
The Vibe House - RSVP HERE
8pm - 2am @ Kiss & Fly, 404 Colorado St.
Cashmere Agency, VIBE Magazine and MMXLII team up again for their annual SXSW Vibe House. The showcase actually runs on two nights, Friday (March 16) and Saturday (March 17), so make sure to attend at least one evening because it's definitely a must-see.
Friday's showcase will be AllHipHop.com's Breeding Ground, featuring headliner Mystikal, and other acts such as Big K.R.I.T., Smoke DZA, Don Trip, and Trae Tha Truth, among others. Saturday's show will be the Respect The West showcase, featuring Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and Ab Soul, Nipsey Hussle, Dom Kennedy, Pac Div, Strong Arm Steady, and others.
