Snoop Dogg is expanding his business resume beyond music even further this week, with news that he's become part owner of the newly formed Lady Arena Football team, the Los Angeles Rideretts.
In support of his new venture, the west coast rap legend will be holding try-outs in Los Angeles on Saturday (March 10) in an attempt to fill the squad with the best talent.
The Lady Arena Football League (LAFL) is a new indoor arena football league made up of female athletes. Games are an 8-on-8 full contact sports, but the ladies play in lingerie-style uniforms.
The LAFL operates under the same By Laws and Rules of the National Arena Football League; and is set to being its inaugural season in May 2012 and will continue through the summer.
The Rideretts will hold inaugural season try-outs on Saturday at Del Amo Park with Snoop Dogg, located at 703 E. Del Amo Blvd, Carson, CA 90746.
Ladies interested are asked to "come prepared in fitted sportswear; shorts, leggings, sports bra, running shoes and/or cleats (not required)." And, a one-time fee of $25 is payable at tryouts.
