Shyne has expressed his distaste for Diddy, the head of his former Bad Boy Records label home, but the pair were civil during a recent face-to-face meeting at Paris Fashion Week.
Diddy tweeted a photo of himself and his former Bad Boy signee on Sunday (March 4), saying they were sitting side-by-side at the Kenzo show.
"Me and Shyne Po front row at Kenzo," the hip-hop mogul wrote (@IAmDiddy).
Shyne, who is an Orthodox Jew, was dressed in a traditional Hasidic get-up as he sat alongside Diddy, and reportedly headed to dinner with him and his Bad Boy crew, which included singer Cassie.
The rapper recently chopped it up with MTV, via Skype, where he explained his reconciliation with Diddy, admitting that he reached out twice during his incarceration, but Shyne said he wasn't ready to talk and resolve any their issues.
"As far as Puff is concerned, that's been a long time coming," Shyne explained, referring to a conversation the two had prior to Paris. "He had reached out to me twice while I was in the pen, but I just wasn't ready for it."
Shyne did an almost nine-year prison bid after being convicted of assault and gun possession in the now infamous Club New York shooting in 1999, during an evening out with Diddy and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. During his incarceration, he criticized Diddy for his legal defense, and going as far as calling him a snitch. However, now looking back, Shyne said he held it down.
"I felt how I felt, I said what I said. In retrospect, when you looked at the way he handled it, he held it down, he wore it," he explained. "He ain't had nothing to say; always had good things to say. It was always, 'Yo, whatever Shyne need, we got him.' "
