New York rapper Emilio Rojas continues grinding, releasing new material and garnering recognition on the Internet. Although he's yet to land a major deal, the rapper -- born to an American mother and a Venezuelan father -- puts together some quality projects, which he's taken his time on.
Rojas has just dropped a new mixtape/project presented by DJ Green Lantern and the Billionaire Boys Club, titled Breaking Point, which serves as his first in over a year.
The mixtape is free of rap features, and boasts production from The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, M-Phazes, WrighTrax, and is mostly produced by V12 The Hitman.
For his longtime fans, Rojas tells MTV News that Breaking Point is a little different from past projects, but not too far out of left field. "It's a little bit of a different sound. Less sample-based sound, a little more synthy, mid-tempo," he said.
Rojas is also planning to release more projects this year. In fact, he says possibly two or three more by the end of 2012.
