Reigning NBA MVP, Derrick Rose, continues to release new versions of his new Adidas signature sneaker, the adiZero Rose 2. This week, he debuted the 2.5 version in a clip.
The video is a sneaker review, where he pays homage to fans who have offered their own reviews, and encourages them to submit reviews to the Adidas Basketball Facebook page when the shoe hits stores on February 2.
Rose breaks down details of the new adiZero Rose 2.5 -- from the soles to the logos to the tongue and colors.
It is the fourth signature shoe for Rose, weighing in at 11 ounces, the lightest he's ever worn. It features a top down satellite view of Derrick’s Chicago Englewood neighborhood embossed in the toe box and upper. The map view is a continuation of the "Cleared for Flight" theme of the adizero Rose 2 and represents a view from high above.
Signature details include "ROSE" on the tongue and three stripes branding on the back of the shoe to emphasize his speed on the court. The sockliner features an infrared color and Derrick's signature as a nod to his motivation and inspired play on the court. Derrick's jersey number "1" is featured on the toe.
The adizero Rose 2.5 will be available in home and away colorways at February 2 at Foot Locker, Eastbay and ShopAdidas.com; and will retail for $110.
Six additional colorways will follow through April.
