A Bathing Ape's (BAPE) has an obviously ape-inspired influence, but the brand's founder NIGO cited "Stars Wars" as his all-time favorite in a recent interview with HypeBeast.com.
So, it only made sense that a Star Wars-branded BAPE collection would be released, and it's coming in the New Year.
Lucas Films and the Star Wars franchise has teamed up with BAPE for a capsule collection coming in 2012. It is comprised of mostly T-shirts -- with designs boasting the likes of Darth Vader, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Ewoks and Bounty Hunters -- but also includes a keychain, stuffed animals, shot glasses, pillows, and some tote bags.
The 2012 BAPE x Stars Wars capsule will begin dropping in January.
