Shwood x Pendleton Canby

Portland-based sunglasses company, Shwood, recently joined forces with fellow Portland brand Pendleton Woolen Mills for a collaborative pair of wooden shades.

The wooden shades (Shwood's trademark) are based on their "Candy" frames style, and were produced on a limited run.

They feature laser-etched temples adorned with Pendleton's iconic "Chief Joseph" pattern. Pendleton produced a matching carrying pouch woven from a limited batch of wool, exclusive to the project.

The Canby Pendleton sunglasses retail for $210, and are available now through ShwoodShop.com.

Below is a video, offering some insight into the collaboration, taking you from the forest where a tree is chopped down for the frames' wood to the workshop where they were created.
