 Singer Ne-Yo welcomed a new addition to his family over the weekend, when his girlfriend gave birth to his second child ... a son named Mason.
According to People, the 31-year-old R&B star (real name: Shaffer Smith) welcomed the birth of his first son with actress Monyetta Shaw on Sunday (October 9).
After the birth of Mason Evan Smith, Ne-Yo took to Twitter to express his excitement.
"Sal-u twit fam. If you are truly fam you'll help me welcome the heir to my throne, born OCT.9TH at 6 pounds, 10 ounces! Mason Evan Smith!" he wrote (@NeyoCompound).
It's the couple's second child together. Less than a year ago, he and Shaw welcomed a daughter, named Madilyn Grace.
The couple has denied engagement reports.
