Brooklyn-bred rapper, CL, first began his writing game as a journalist, penning articles for the likes of Smooth Magazine, Vibe, and BallerStatus.com, as well. But, he was also working on musical aspirations as well.
He and his team, Grind24 Entertainment, have been actively working and gearing up for his debut mixtape, titled Never Looking Back, set for a September 2011 release. The tape's title track is its lead single, and he just dropped an official music video for the song, in which he touches on various personal experiences and gives the audience a glimpse on why he continues to push forward despite the opinion of skeptics.
