Former G.O.O.D. Music recording artist, Consequence, has been taking shots at Kanye West in recent weeks, and while 'Ye hasn't given the disses any attention, members of his label have.
Big Sean recently called the issue "personal", but didn't say much more than that. But, when Pusha T was recently asked about it, he fired a couple shots back at the New York rapper.
During an interview on Chicago's 107.5 WGCI radio station, on The Morning Riot show (upped by FakeShoreDrive), the Clipse member addressed the controversy between Cons and G.O.O.D. Music and took a few soft swipes.
After the show host said they would love to hear him engage in a battle with Consequence, Pusha laughed it off, responding, "Really? You're like the first person to ever say that. I don't ever think anyone's wanted to see Consequence.
"Never... no radio personality, DJ has ever said they want to hear Consequence," he added, with a giggle.
The host defended Cons' skills, and followed by asking if there would be some type of response, on wax, from Pusha. While the rapper didn't rule out the prospect, he didn't seem to enthused about it, simply because there's nothing to gain.
"At the end of the day, I am an artist and this is sort of fun to me still. This whole rap thing is sort of fun to me, so I won't say you won't hear nothing. But a go-back-and-forth between me and him, it's not right. You can't get anything out of it," Pusha explained.
"People are disrespectful. What can you say? 'Ye is a great guy. He's done a lot for me, he's done a lot for everybody. He's ever embraced in this music game, he tries his hardest for everybody."
What do you think? Would you wanna hear a rap battle between Pusha T and former labelmate Consequence? Tell us what you think.
