News from this week's Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif. to the Internet on Thursday (July 21), revealing some cool news about the latest Mortal Kombat installment ... which is who the next, and final, downloadable character will be.
You ready? It will be the iconic horror movie character, Freddy Krueger.
IGN.com uploaded a trailer of the claw-wearing murderer, showing just how he stacks up in the 2011 version of Mortal Kombat, which hit stores back in April. It shows off his moves and some of his combos, as well as several fatalities.
The MK Krueger looks to be based on the actor who plays Freddy in the 2010 remake, Jackie Earle Haley, rather than the classic Robert Englund look.
The new character will hit the live marketplace on August 9, and will probably cost 400 Microsoft points or $4.99 on the PlayStation Network, according to IGN.
