DMX walked out of an Arizona prison on Tuesday (July 19), finally becoming a free man after months behind bars.
According to AllHipHop.com, the rapper was greeted by a small group of friends and family as he walked out from behind prison walls ... and his immediate plans -- after visiting his kids -- will be to get back to work.
"I spoke to my daughter, I just got off the phone with my wife. I'm going to go see my daughter while the sun is up then I'm going to be in the studio man," X told the website.
DMX was sentenced to one year in prison in December of 2010, after violating terms of his probation by failing court-mandated drug tests and refusing to undergo treatment and counseling.
Today, with his legal issues behind him (for now), X will focus on his career. Reps for the rapper say he's got a number of shows lined up, and is currently fielding offers for television, movie and recording projects.
As previously reported, X is also seriously considering a deal with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group.
