 Prolific Canadian DJ, A-Trak, has teamed up with Sirius/XM for his own show on the satellite radio's electronic music show, Electric Area.
"A-Trak Presents: Fool's Gold Radio" launched Monday night (July 18) on channel 52, and will air the third Monday every month.
"My mission with my radio show is to bring DJ skills to the forefront," the DJ says. "You won't hear any other DJ play the way I'm playing on this radio station. I come from a hip-hop background, cutting, scratching, juggling, and I brought that to electronic music.
"With Fool's Gold, we've broken artists and we've broken down the boundaries between electro and hip-hop. I'm thrilled and honored to bring that to SiriusXM."
Sirius/XM's Electric Area plays progressive house, trance and electronic music, along with shows from the world's top DJs -- including Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Tiësto and Ferry Corsten, and now A-Trak, among others.
