The Cool Kids Drop Debut, Gear Up For U.S. Tour Dates

By Allen Starbury   |   Published 07/13/2011

The Cool KidsChicago duo, The Cool Kids, announced a string of headlining tour dates, beginning next week, in support of their recently released debut LP, When Fish Ride Bicycles.

The long-awaited album is being lauded with critical praise for its straight-no-chaser aesthetic, heralding summer with the booming drums and reclined rhyme schemes that have kept listeners sated since their breakout, Bake Sale EP.

In person, both Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks personify their moniker, effortlessly trading verses donning style you wish you had.

They will hit the road, starting July 23 with a stop in Maryland, before heading to Oakland, Los Angeles, Tucson, and Denver. The tour concludes on August 14th in Cleveland, Ohio.

When Fish Ride Bicycles is out now, via Green Label Sound. Fans can preview it, via a stream on AOL.com, or buying a copy on iTunes.

Below are confirmed tour dates:

7/23 - Ocean City, MD @ Dew Tour
7/28 - Oakland, CA @ New Parish
7/30 - Los Angeles, CA @ Audiotistic
7/31 - Tucson, AZ @ Congress
