 T.I. has been sitting in an Arkansas prison since last winter, but although he's away from the spotlight, he hasn't been forgotten. Fans are anxiously awaiting release ... and its just around the corner.
The rapper is counting down the days, and dropped a letter on his website (TrapMuzik.com), thanking fans for their loyal support and promised to return the love.
"I WILL RETURN THE FAVOR!!! And that's on PHIL!!!" he wrote, referring of his late friend, who was killed in 2006.
In the short letter, T.I. tells fans to stay patient, because he'll be back in their faces "sooner than later," adding that he's looking forward to coming home in September after serving 11 months behind bars.
"I love y'all and I'll see you in September," the rapper wrote, while sending some shoutouts to individual fans and celebrities including Drake, J. Cole, Nelly, and Nipsey Hussle.
TIP has been incarcerated since last November, after being sentenced to 11 months for a probation violation, which stems from a drug arrest in Los Angeles a few months prior.

What up world? I appreciate the continued love and support that everyone has been giving me. This chapter in my story will soon be coming to an end and I will be back in the flesh with you sooner than later. In the meantime I want to give a special shout out to a few particular individuals that have been sending me letters, cards, comments, tweets and just overall holding me down. A little loyalty goes a long way with me...I don't do fake shit shawty. So I can't thank y'all enough for keeping it 1 thousand and as soon as I'm able I WILL RETURN THE FAVOR!!! And that's on PHIL!!! I love y'all and I'll see you in September.
