Florida rapper Brisco surrendered to authorities on Monday (July 11) to face battery charges for allegedly attacking an 18-year-old last month.
Miami police say the 29-year-old rapper (real name: British Alexander Mitchell) had sent text messages to an 18-year-old man, named Giovanni Nagy (who used to work with him), threatening to beat him up in late June.
Shortly after, Brisco showed up to the kid's North Miami condominium complex, where he lived with him mother who confronted the rapper in an effort to diffuse the situation, but it got worse.
Nagy's mother and Brisco got into an argument, prompting her son to step outside to defend his mother. That's when Brisco attacked him, punching him several times until he was unconscious.
The rapper fled the scene before police could arrive.
Apparently, Nagy's mother snapped cellphone pictures of the altercation, and offered them to police.
