Rihanna's concert in Dallas was cut short on Friday night (July 8), after the a fire broke out on stage while performing.
According to reports, a light on the stage caught fire during her Loud Tour stop at American Airlines Center in Dallas Friday, after finishing her power ballad single "California King Bed."
The fire broke out, showering sparks and burning debris onto the smoking stage behind her.
It grew rapidly, but the production crew moved quickly and extinguished the flames to the applause of the 12,500 fans in attendance, who then calmly evacuated the American Airlines Center.
At press time, it seems there were no injuries.
Rihanna took to her Twitter page soon after to address the incendiary incident. "DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!!," she tweeted (@Rihanna). "I'm so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!"
Later, the singer reported, "Heading into a production meeting to find out exactly what happened!!! Keep u posted" and added, "Glad you guys are safe!!! I promise I'll be back!!!"
Rihanna is currently performing around the country on her "Loud" tour, which will also take her to South America and Europe.
