Glasses MaloneWatts rapper Glasses Malone announced this week that he and Cash Money Records have partnered with indie label, Suburban Noize Records, to finally release his long awaited debut album, Beach Cruiser, in late August.

Cash Money and Suburban Noize Records partnered to give the rapper a special avenue to release the album -- major support, but no pressure for a radio single.

That's exactly what Glasses is looking for, he stated.

"This is one of the best case scenarios for me to release my album, as I still have my major support, but without the pressure of a major label to produce a radio single," said the rapper. "Cash Money and Suburban Noize have given me full creative control over every aspect of this album's release, so I can keep it 117% gangsta for the fans.

"This is heaven and the DJ is playing nothing but Beach Cruiser all day, every day! Get ready to cop that album on August 30th, 2011 baby!"

The forthcoming album will feature the single "Dope" produced by Tha Bizness, and will be executive produced by Birdman, Slim and Mack 10.

Over the last several years, Glasses has been grinding, spreading his music across the country, thanks to with high profile collaborations with industry heavyweights like Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and Akon.

While Beach Cruiser has been subject to numerous delays, Glasses' unwavering persistence has kept him on the grind and performing on back to back sold-out tours alongside Tech N9ne, Slaughterhouse and E-40.

Beach Cruiser drops August 30th.
