Lloyd Banks Shelves 'Cold Corner 2' Mixtape, Focuses On Next Album

Lloyd BanksG-Unit's Lloyd Banks broke some of his fans' hearts on Monday (May 30) when he revealed that his anticipated Cold Corner 2 mixtape was taking a backseat to his next album.

In a Twitter update, sent to over 260,000 followers on Memorial Day, the G-Unit group member that the forthcoming mixtape will not drop.

Instead, Banks will be putting focus on his fourth studio album, which has yet to be titled.

"Sorry everybody..but I'm not putting out the cold corner..working on my new album," Banks tweeted (@LloydBanks).

The album would be the follow-up to 2010's H.F.M. 2 (The Hunger for More), which featured the Juelz Santana-assisted hit "Beamer, Benz, or Bentley", and guest spots from the like of Kanye West, Pusha T, Raekwon, Akon, Fabolous, and many others.

At press time, further details regarding his next album were unknown.
