Hip-hop star Sean Kingston was hospitalized on Sunday (May 29) following a jet ski accident near Miami, leaving himself and a female passenger injured.
Multiple reports said that the 21-year-old Kingston crashed his jet skit when it went under a small bridge about 6 p.m.
A good Samaritan witnessed the crash, and hauled the music star and unknown woman onto their water vessel, and was carted to nearby Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Reports said that Kingston's injuries were severe, and that he's being treated in the trauma ward.
Officials did not believe alcohol played a role in the crash, as of press time.
Lauren Ceradini, VP of publicity at Kingston's label Epic Records, released a statement early Monday morning (May 3) saying that "Sean is stabilized", but did not elaborate on his condition.
Singer Trav, who's currently single features Kingston in his latest song, said and told CNN that he is "good in stable condition."
Kingston's publicist at Epic Records, Joseph Carozza, issued a statement Sunday night confirming the accident, but also didn't offer many details: "No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well wishes," the statement said.
