In celebration of Mother's Day, Kansas City rapper Tech N9ne premiered a brand new music video off his upcoming album, All 6's And 7's, on MTV2's "Sucker Free" on Sunday (May 8).
In the clip for "Mama Nem," dedicated to his mother Maudie Yates, the rapper pays homage to his family's matriarch.
"My mom means the world to me man. She's been tormented all her life. She's the reason why I love, she’s the reason why I respect. She's everything," Tech said in a Q&A on his website, TheRealTechN9necom. "I wish I saw her more than I do. Without my mama -- of course it's self-explanatory -- I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be the wonderful dude I am -- I think I'm a wonderful dude, I got motherf***ers that'll agree with me, I just ain't on my own d***. My mom made me the pleasant dude I am."
All 6's And 7's drops June 7.
