logo - Maybach Music GroupMay is set to be a big month for Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group (MMG) imprint. So big, they're calling it MAYbach Music Month, and plan to release a slew of material leading up to the release of the label's compilation, Self Made Vol. 1.

The month has kicked off with news that the label's new "Tupac Back" single was the #1 "Most Added" song at Urban Mainstream this week, with rotation pick-ups in over 40 markets.

To seize the momentum, MMG will release a new track, video, and exclusive content from the upcoming album, each Monday until its release on May 23rd through Warner Bros. Records.

The 15-track compilation features appearance from Maybach Music's Rick Ross, Wale, Pill, Meek Mill, Gunplay, Torch and Teedra Moses, as well as contributions from Jadakiss, J. Cole, CyHi The Prynce, Curren$y and Jeremih.

During the week of release, the consortium of Maybach rappers will hold special MAYbach Music Events in Miami (Ross), Atlanta (Pill), Washington D.C. (Wale), and Meek Mill (Philadelphia), which will include radio takeovers, retail in-stores, college meet-and-greets and special live performances.

Several campaigns are already underway in support of MAYbach Music Month. The group has teamed up with Complex Magazine to release ten customized bikes from Mixie Bike through the mag's website.

Meek Mill has been selected as one of the newest faces of DrJays.com's "Summer Sensations" summer fashion campaign. The promotion, which highlights select new artists positioned next to "heat up" the music industry, will run June through August across DrJays.com and DrJays.com Live. Previous campaign alumni including Nicki Minaj, Yelawolf, Waka Flocka Flame, and Jeremih.

Elsewhere, other contests revolving around the album's resonating theme of being "Self Made" are planned -- including a giveaway to minorities, courtesy of Rick Ross and the non-profit organization 100 Urban Entrepreneurs, which will give away $10,000-grants to help start their own businesses.

And later this month, Wale will launch a national Facebook college contest where students will be encouraged to create a "College Events Page" promoting being "Self Made." The students in each market with the most subscribers of fellow students to their event page will win a MMG listening event at their school, hosted by one of the Maybach Music group members.

The most immediate thing you'll see from Maybach Music Month is on Saturday (May 7) when Rick Ross heads to Las Vegas to bring out boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao in his highly anticipated bout with "Sugar" Shane Mosley. In support of the feat, Pacquiao and his training staff will don limited edition Maybach Music T-shirts available at the Warner Bros. Records online store, at WarnerBrosRecordsStore.com.

Self Made Vol. 1 drops May 23. The final tracklisting is as follows:
