It was another great day of hip-hop music early this month (April 2), when Murs and Guerilla Union threw their 2011 Paid Dues Independent Music Festival in San Bernardino, Calif., it's biggest to date, since first launching it in 2006.
From noon until early into the next morning a long list of hip-hop artists kept nearly 11,000 attendees entertained with performances, meet-n-greets, and booth appearances. From Murs, Black Star (Talib Kweli & Mos Def), and Immortal Technique to E-40, Bun B, Slaughterhouse and Lil B The Based God, fans had a variety to choose from between three different stages.

Of course, we were on deck. Backstage we conducted several interviews, while our photographers captured the day on film, as seen above. Check out the action.
