Despite all the buzz he had, newcomer Wiz Khalifa couldn't knock Britney Spears outta the top spot on this week's Billboard 200 albums chart.
The pop star earned her sixth #1 with her new album, Femme Fatale, beating out Wiz's major label debut, Rolling Papers, by selling 276,000 copies.
Still, the Pittsburgh rapper churned out some impressive numbers to land at #2, selling 197,000 copies in his first week, thanks to his smash single, "Black and Yellow", and his latest single, "No Sleep."
Last week's #1, Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. fell to #4 this week with 91,000 sold; while the Songs For Japan charity compilation climbed one spot to #5 with 71,000, recording a 5% increase in sales from last week; and Jennifer Hudson's I Remember Me slipped from #2 to #7 with 56,000.
Snoop Dogg's Doggumentary opens at #8, selling 50,000 copies in its first week out, earning the west coast rap legend his 11th top 10 release.
Kirk Franklin's Hello Fear fell to #9 with 46,000; Rihanna's Loud came in at #14 with 24,000 more sold; and Lupe Fiasco's Lasers sold 23,000 to put him at #16.
Outside the top tier, E-40 made his debut onto the charts, coming in at #40 and #42 with his double-album release in his Revenue Retrievin' album series. Graveyard Shift sold 14,000 to start, while Overtime Shift sold 13,000 in its first week.
A little bit later in the ranking was Mac Miller's new On And On And Beyond EP, selling 11,000 and opening at #54.
