By BallerStatus Staff   |   Published 02/17/2011

Cypress Hill member, DJ Muggs, has become a fan of dubstep over the last six years, a subgenre of electronic dance music. According to the legendary producer, the musical genre -- which originated in South East London -- reminded him of hip-hop and has helped inspire him to try new things, musically.

In this EPK clip, Muggs discusses his journey through music, where it's taken him today, his influences in recent years and his upcoming bass-heavy album, Bass For Your Face, which is set to drop this year.
