Kobe Bryant has been named an All-Star starter for the 14th straight time. Today, he's considered still one of the, if not the, best in the league today. Most consider Kobe our generation's Michael Jordan.
With the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend coming up, the NBA.com has been upping some classic clips from the game. Here's one of Kobe's very first All-Star Game, when he was just 19 years old, and had to guard Michael Jordan.
KOBE IS THE BEST - Stern & Company are so busy "chasing dollars" instead of recognizing personal effort, dedication, talent and devotion. We see it time and time again, the media and the nba repeatedly tries to shut Kobe out...but numbers do not lie...and Kobe ALWAYS puts the numbers on the board---where it can not be denied--for all to see --- KOBE IS GREAT! A special shout out to Steve Kerr---you got it right, baby---shame on you Kenny, Charles and Company - we THOUGHT you knew the "game" - but obviously you don't know ballin' at all. Take a back seat!
