Since jumping into the music game in the late 1980s, early 1990s, Diddy has gone on to become one of the most successful hip-hop moguls in the biz -- recording multiple platinum-selling albums and hit singles, and expanding into the worlds of TV, clothing, and acting.
But, did you know that before music, Diddy wanted to do something else? As a teenager in high school, the hip-hop powerhouse actually had dreams of making it to the NFL, but things were cut short when he broke his leg.
While in London, Diddy stopped by Tim Westwood's radio show, where he ran down his history -- beginning with his failure to take football beyond high school, to how he became the successful music mogul he's become today.
"I never had any aspirations to become a recording artist, producer, music mogul or anything like that. I loved American football," he told the radio personality. "So throughout grade school and high school I was pursuing dreams to become a professional American football player."
