Last week, Google launched its annual year-end review they call "Zeitgeist," which in definition means: "the spirit of the times or age". The search giant is celebrating the end of 2010 with the good, bad and the ugly times with the Zeitgeist list.
There's a few figures you hip-hop heads might have heard of among the top most searched people of the year: Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, and Kid Cudi.
Wiz came in at #3 among the most searched "People," only being beat out by pop star Kesha and teen sensation Justin Bieber, who tops the list.
The rapper's search popularity on Google began to rise around the end of July, but then spiked in early November when he was arrested in North Carolina for marijuana possession.
Nicki Minaj was behind him at #4 and her search popularity continues to rise into December, while Cudi ranked at #8 with his searches spiking in early November when he dropped his sophomore album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager.
Others on the list included MTV reality star Heidi Montag, pop singer Katy Perry, and socialite-turned-reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
In the People category, with the sub-category Music, Wiz, Nicki and Cudi all landed on there as well, in addition to Eminem.
Overall, some of the most "Fasting Rising" searches were: iPad, iPhone 4, World Cup, Facebook and Glee.

Wiz Khalifa really gained steam last year with the release of his critically acclaimed mixtape, Kush and Orange Juice. Months later, he signed to Atlantic Records after building his fanbase organically. Download Kush and OJ over at MixtapePass.com.
