Former B2K member Raz B's latest run of molestation allegations against former manager Chris Stokes and singer Marques Houston has had the net buzzing for a couple weeks now.
Just this week, Bow Wow's name was brought up in the debacle, to which he sounded off on Twitter regarding it ... and denied he was ever involved or saw anything related to the situation.
Now, Houston is taking legal action, and was granted a restraining order against Raz this week, after citing "emotional distress" after video of a heated phone confrontation between the two hit the Internet last month.
In the clip, Raz B accuses Houston and Stokes of molesting him -- and other members of B2K -- as a teenager.
"About three weeks ago, DeMario Thornton, aka Raz B, released a video recording via the internet of a conversation that we had," Houston wrote in the paperwork. "DeMario is screaming at me, he has a deranged demeanor and is not acting like a reasonable person. After I hung up on DeMario, he continued recording himself and falsely accused me of molesting him."
According to the court docs, Raz is ordered to stay at least 100 feet away from the 30-year-old singer, his job and/or his vehicle.
Houston claims that the video, which has circulated the web since its release, caused him anguish and now fears for his safety. He also feels Raz may become violent toward him, should they come in contact, thus his request for a restraining order.
Since the initial video, Raz has posted several more, in which he continues his accusations. In one, he phones another alleged victim of Stokes', and in another calls out former band member Omarion, for allegedly knowing about the abuse. However, Raz does this all while plugging his upcoming album release.
A hearing in the case is scheduled for November 22.
Raz B first brought the molestation accusations to light back in late 2007, but days later, followed up by recanting his claims and issued a public apology. Despite the denial, Raz's brother Ricky Romance came forward and said everything was true. Ricky's manager than issued a statement claiming that Raz's apology was issued after he was threatened to do so.
Both Stokes and Houston have denied the claims outright.
