Nicki Ninaj's MTV VMAs Performance: 'Your Love/Check It Out'

The Young Money First Lady didn't get a big stage show during the actual show, but Nicki Minaj sure made her presence known when she opened the pre-show in her own Barbie way.

The female MC had fans rocking out as she opened with her smash "Your Love," coming out in a tight-fitting purple spandex out and pink wig, but it was short-lived. After just over 30 seconds, she broke into a performance of her new single, "Check It Out", which samples the 80s hit "Video Killed the Radio Star". During her stage show, she brought out Will.i.am who drops his verse.
