Jay-Z said in his hit single "Empire State of Mind" that he "made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can...", and now he has a chance to prove that line.

The hip-hop superstar has teamed up with the New York Yankees for a line of co-branded, limited edition clothing sold exclusively at Yankees Stadium starting next week, reports the Associated Press.

The range of gear includes baseball caps to t-shirts to hoodies, all of which will feature both the Yankees and Jay-Z logos.

On Thursday (August 26), the Yankees said the attire was created to commemorate the first official concerts at the new Yankee Stadium on September 13 and 14, when Jay-Z and Eminem will co-headline, which was announced back in May.

The short summer tour is dubbed the "Home and Home" tour, which will follow joint performances at Detroit's Comerica Park on September 3 and 4.

The new Jay, Yankees merch will be available at Yankee Stadium from August 30 to September 14.
