Despite early predictions putting the Bawse on top, it's Eminem who squeezes out yet another no. 1 week on the Billboard 200, beating out Rick Ross' new Teflon Don album and a new release from Sheryl Crow.
Eminem landed at no. 1 for the fifth straight week, selling another 187,000 copies of Recovery, down just 4% from last week's numbers.
A surely disappointed Rick Ross was the runner-up in his opening week with Teflon Don with 176,000 sold, breaking the Miami rapper's stretch of number ones.
His last three studio albums all debuted at no. 1, with his a -- including 2009's Deeper Than Rap, 2008's Trilla, and his 2006 debut, Port of Miami. According to Billboard.com, the opener for Teflon is Ross' best sales week since Trilla recorded 198,000.
Drake's Thank Me Later fell to no. 4 with 47,000; Lady Gaga's The Fame hops forward three positions to no. 10 with 24,000; Usher's Raymond v. Raymond held down no. 11 with 21,000; and Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty closes out the top 20 at no. 15 with 18,000.
