Veteran rapper Ice-T was arrested Tuesday morning (July 20) in New York City after cops pulled him over for not wearing a seat belt.
According to TMZ, the arresting officer noticed the rapper (real name: Tracy Marrow) was driving without his selt belt, so he initiated a traffic stop and then found out he was driving on a suspended license.
So he was arrested and taken into custody.
Ice was booked and later released.
Since the arrest, Ice-T took to his Twitter page (@FinalLevel) to blast the cop, calling him a "punk bitch rookie cop" and said he "made the arrest of his bullsh*t career today."
He also said reports of driving on a suspended license is a "lie."
"My license in not suspended. I don't and never had a NYC licence. I have a valid NJ licence. It was all bullsh**," Ice tweeted
According to Ice, the officer told him, "I know who you are and I don't give a f***!"
Despite the inconvience, the rapper went on with his day. He headed to the studio to record vocals for the upcoming, popular video game Gears of Wars 3, which he'll be featured in.
