An Ohio woman got a big surprise recently when she found out a Lebron James pendant she bought at a yard sale for $5 was worth a lot more ... nearly $10,000 more!
According to Akron News station WEWS5, 20-year-old Vaneisha Robinson said she used to wear the pendant in high school after purchasing it four years ago and thought it was just costume jewelry. But, something made her get it appraised ... and was surprised to find out its value.
Apparently, the piece is 14-karat white gold pendant and has more than 2 carats of diamonds.
"They tested the diamonds and they told me that it was real and that I should invest in getting it certified," Robinson told the news channel.
As you see in the picture, it's in the space of a basketball jersey and sports the word "King" on the front and "James" on the back, with the #23 on both sides.
Despite the backlash James has received in Ohio, following his move to the Miami Heat, Robinson believes the jewelry will still sell.
"The LeBron James brand will never die out," she said. "If he got a ring it might go up in value. You never know."
According to reports, Robinson currently selling the piece on eBay. However, as of press time, we were unable to find the correct auction. After doing a search on eBay, there were several listings that claim to be the pendant featured in the Ohio news piece.
The piece was stolen from one of Lebrons people. She know way more than what she saying. If you bought if from a yard sale and thought it was “fake” then why would you even bother taking some costume jewlery/cubic zirconias to get appraised? Come on with the games.
