T-Pain Adds New Features To 'I Am T-Pain' App, Drops Price

T-Pain's successful iPhone app, "I Am T-Pain," just got bigger. It just added new features and cut its price!
Smule, the company behind the app, just added a new video feature to the "I Am T-Pain" app, so users can utilize the new front facing camera available on the iPhone 4. Now, you can flip a switch and record yourself singing, in auto-tune, while song lyrics scroll up the same screen.
From there, you can share with the world,by uploading directly to Youtube right from the app.
With the feature, you can create your own music videos straight from your iPhone 4 or 3GS, complete with auto-tune and T-Pain music background tracks. Or, you can auto-tune your pets, friends, and/or anything else, capturing the result with video.
The T-Pain Video feature is included at no additional cost to iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS "I Am T-Pain" users. iPhone 3GS requires iOS 4 to use the T-Pain Video feature.
Additionally, Smule has dropped the price to $0.99.
They have launched a contest called "T-Pain THIS!", where users are asked to upload their T-Pained videos for a chance to win an iPad or iPod touch. For more details, visit IAmTPain.Smule.com/Contest.
I can't wait for T Pain to open for the Black Eyed Peas! I've seen them both live and they put on amazing shows. I'm stoked to see them in the same concert!

T-Pain is great and combined with the BEP will make for an awesome show. I got my tickets so now I will wait. I am so pumped for the Black Eyed Peas but T-Pain opening will make the show that much better.

Ha, this app is so much fun. T-Pain is great. I'm actually seeing him open for the Black Eyed Peas too this summer.
