Since being released from prison last year and then finishing his halfway house program, T.I. has been making up for lost time quickly by putting work in at a rapid rate.
Following the release of his new mixtape with DJ Drama, F*** A Mixtape, the Atlanta rapper has just announced a new endorsement deal with Remy Martin Cognac.
According to TheBoomBox.com, TIP recently hit VJ Ricky Smiley's ATL V103 radio show, revealing that he had been approached by the French Cognac company to help promote their brand.
TIP said he just returned from Cognac, France, where he had just finalized the deal with Remy Martin. However, he didn't reveal further details about about how exactly he would be promoting the brand.
This is not the first time TIP has endorsed a corporate brand. In 2007, the rapper landed a major endorsement deal with General Motors, which he later lost following his conviction on federal gun charges.
According to the rapper, the highly publicized arrest cost him more than $10 million in revenue, after he was forced to miss out on film projects, shows and other business ventures.
He's back on track now though. TIP is currently preparing the upcoming release of his seventh studio album, King Uncaged, due out in August.
